Feeding & Management Directions To achieve optimal results with CattlActive® Lick Tubs, follow these simple management guidelines:
- Provide one 250 lb tub for every 20 to 25 animals.
- Place tubs in open areas where they can be easily accessed by the herd.
- Allow a minimum 2-week acclimation period to establish an average consumption rate.
- Target an average consumption between 0.5 and 1 lb per head, per day.
- Always ensure your livestock has unrestricted access to clean water and salt.
